As Han Geng gets bigger and more visible, he gains more fans. There were the original ELF and the GengFans. Then now, he has the attention of the general public which is where the important factor lies – the money !
Fans are also as important as the general public, but in order for Han Geng to have a lasting career, he needs the support of the general public ! He needs to be recognised as an individual artiste who can hold his own in his own rights. He needs to shake off the image of being an idol and to gain the strength of a serious and more gratifying image of a true artiste who means business based on his talents and not mainly on his looks alone !
Han Geng has to toughen up himself and withstand the “attacks” from all spectrum of life as he marches into the cruel world of entertainment. There will always be critics whether right or wrong. Han Geng has to be true to himself at all times in order for him not to make himself a target of gossips and slanders.
